Chemical Clean LinesDesigned specifically for printed circuit board cleaning. Combines chemical and mechanical cleaning in one space saving conveyorized system. The conveyor rollers are constructed of a three piece design. Brass end plugs are machined and pressed into a steel tube. Neoprene rubber is then blown over the tubes forming a rigid yet resilient conveyor roll that is impervious to moisture and most chemicals, yet will not damage the most delicate of circuit boards. The Tank Console is a modular designed unit consisting of four chambers. It is fabricated of stress relieved polypropylene and welded to the internal frame plates to form one complete unit to ensure a leak proof system. Cleaning ChamberThe Cleaning Chamber is the first stage of the multiple stage cleaning system utilizing 40 gallon filtered, recirculating thermostatically controlled reservoir. A stainless steel heater is coupled with an overtemperature device and a low level safety control. A pump recirculates 3600 gallons per hour of chemical solution through 45 strategically placed "jet spray nozzles". Quadruple baffling at the exit of this chamber assures minimum drag out into the second stage cleaning chamber. Oscillation Brushes in the cleaning chamber ensures proper cleaning of contaminants from the traces and pads of the printed circuit boards. Fresh Water Rinse ChamberThe Fresh Water Rinse Chamber is the second stage of the cleaning system. The chamber contains 30 strategically placed "jet spray nozzles". Water is sprayed on both sides of the panels completely removing all traces of chemical and surface residue. The water is supplied by in house pressure. Recirculating ChamberThe Recirculating Chamber is the third stage of the cleaning system. The chamber utilizes a 12 gallon filtered, recirculating thermostatically controlled reservoir. A stainless steel heater is coupled with an overtemperature device and a low level safety control. The pump recirculates 3,600 gallons per hour of solution through 30 strategically placed "jet spray nozzles". Quadruple baffling at the exit of this chamber minimizes solution loss. Drying SystemThe Drying System is the fourth stage of the cleaning system. The chamber utilizes an efficient, filtered air system that is the key to the drying principle. A high velocity pressure type self cleaning aluminum fan produces 1450 cubic feet of air per minute at 15 inches of static pressure. Ambient air is then fed through six uniquely designed airknives (three top and three bottom) that blast away any trace of moisture, including all through holes. Filtration SystemThe Filtration System filters the solutions to the Cleaning Chamber and the Recirculating Chamber, utilizing polypropylene canisters for contaminant entrapment. Solutions are returned to the chambers through heavy duty schedule 80 PVC plumbing. All necessary control valves and drains are easily accessible through a convenient snap lock door located on the side of the machine. Other key features are:
